What Developers Can Learn From the False Alarm That Nearly Started A Nuclear War
Thank Petrov we avoided nuclear war

‘’I knew perfectly well that nobody would be able to correct my mistake if I had made one’’ Stanislav Petrov
On 26th September 1983, Stanislav Yevgrafovich Petrov averted nuclear war by questioning what seemed to be a nuclear attack and deciding it was a false alarm.
This is a great example of not trusting what you are being told or what seems to be happening, but thinking about what is really happening.
We can celebrate Stanislav Petrov for averting a nuclear war and his story gives us an interesting lesson to learn.
Is easy to react, difficult to think and respond.
