Software developers are equally clever and equally foolish

How do your colleagues influence and affect your performance as a developer? Do the development team help your performance or hinder you?

Good developers warp the performance of junior developers and cowboy developers without them realising.

Some developers will have lead, solved problems, set standards, creating process and made challenging decisions. Other developers followed and contributed only code.

Some developers helped other individuals perform well, other developers contribute only to their own performance.

Special reality theory

There is something magical about Albert Einstein stunning the world in with his theory of relativity 1907–1915 and Special relativity 1905 whilst working as a pattern clerk. Can you imagine a pattern clerk or office worker doing that now?

It sounds simple: do a thought experiment, write it up, change the world and become the most recognisable scientist that ever lived. Until you read about his thought experiments.
