like most new things is over hyped. Low code is great for small unrelated applications. This makes up a very small amount of the required software.

Many of the slow boring processes and steps in software development are to create software that is easy to maintain. If you miss these you end up technical debt and difficulty.

The good low code development I have seen has been done by developers and with a senior developer watching over things.

Tools don't make good software, developers do
